The Ohio State Biochemistry Program (OSBP) is an interdisciplinary graduate program that trains students to investigate the biochemical basis of life and disease. In the program, students earn a Ph.D. in Biochemistry after conducting original research in world-class laboratories. Major areas of research include Chemical Biology & Enzymology, Molecular Basis of Disease, Molecular Biology & Molecular Genetics, and Molecular Biophysics & Structural Biology. Many faculty focus on cross-cutting areas including Cancer, Cell Biology, DNA & Chromosomes, Gene Regulation, Protein Structure & Folding, and RNA.
