Why Columbus?

Columbus, the state's capital and nation's 14th largest city, is one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the United States and currently has a population of just over one million. Its growth has been spurred in part by its low-priced housing as compared to what is readily available on the coasts and other major metropolitan areas.  Columbus is primarily a service-industry community, and several Fortune 500 companies have headquarters or operations located in or around the city.

Columbus uniquely provides the combination of an affordable cost-of-living with all of the amenities a major city can offer: fine restaurants, world-class ballet, symphony and theater, thriving art and arena districts, affordable housing both nearby campus and in a collection of diverse neighborhoods, NHL and MLS teams, a new minor league baseball stadium rated the best new stadium in the U.S., a top-rated zoo, an award-winning hands-on science museum, beautiful parks and cycle-ways.
