Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Research Description

Our research focus is to understand extracellular matrix remodeling via the collagen receptors, discoidin domain receptors(DDR1 and DDR2). We employ atomic force microscopy (AFM) and other high resolution microscopy approaches to understand the modifications in the collagen fibril structure and its functional consequences in vascular diseases.
