Research Description
The long-term goal of our lab is to understand the logic of cell signaling in inflammation, cancer biology, and neurodegeneration. Our current focus is on lysosomal signaling, which plays critical roles in immunity, cell metabolism, as well as neurodegeneration. In our lab, we are using multidisciplinary approaches including biochemical reconstitution, cryo-electron microscopy, X-ray crystallography, cell biology and pharmacology to reveal the assembly and regulation of lysosomal signaling proteins.
