Research Description

My laboratory develops next-generation genome editing technologies to enable precise and efficient correction of disease-causing genetic mutations. We engineer CRISPR-based platforms, including prime editors, base editors, and programmable DNA integration systems, together with viral and nonviral delivery strategies such as adeno-associated virus (AAV) and lipid nanoparticles (LNPs). Our research aims to develop broadly applicable genome editing strategies for inherited diseases and accelerate the clinical translation of genome engineering technologies.
